Alan successfully ran the business through 3 decades before eventually leaving the day to day running in the capable hands of Managing Director, Damian Meyers and his team of experts. This natural evolution of the business led to the eventual Management buyout in November 2019. Today the business is owned and ran by Damian Meyers, Colin McEllin and Jen Gavin who hope to enjoy many more decades of Clan growth.

The works carried out by Clan at LFC needed to be intricately planned around the live football stadia environment. Clans expertise enabled to detail plan and scope in advance the works to enable Carillion to fix dates in liaison with the football clubs operations. The management team at Clan understood the sensitive nature of the stadium and club traditions and it was for this reason that they were our trusted partner in removal, refurbishment and development of the Bill Shankly gates and also the creation and installation of the new Hilsborough Memorial. Ranging from the structural expertise to reinforce the existing remaining tier to the historical refurbishment elements Clan have excelled in delivering a large scale upgrade to one of the world's most iconic football stadiums.
The work Clan carried out for us met the high standards that we demanded of them and we are very happy with the finished product. Clan, were a pleasure to work with attentive to any issues we had and would always approach us with solutions on site rather than worrying us with problems. We hope to work with Clan in the future.
The work which Clan undertook for us was lengthy and complex and involved a significant amount of disruption at times to our customers. Throughout the 4 month project, Clan worked very closely with us to minimise any potential disruption to our customers, including tailoring their working hours. Despite these challenges, Clan brought the project in within budget and timescale. Our customers complimented Clan on their professionalism and consideration throughout the work.
